Voice for Vylit is an organization named for Vylit VanderGiessen, a 13 year-old girl from Lynden, Washington (part of Whatcom County) that took her own life, in part because she felt bullied by some girls at her school. Our goal is to make something beautiful come out of something tragic . . . something that Vylit would be proud of. Read Vylit’s story.
Our organization’s goal is to provide resources for bullying and its causes. It is our hope to encourage dialogues between schools, parents and students regarding bullying and its effects. Together we can all tackle this problem head-on.
